Mission XV – Mission Tip Review

The Mission XV Mission Tip uses Teflon...no more lip gunk ever. The feel is really nice. Add to that that you can adjust the airflow with one of 4 reducer pins - or run it without.

Pros

  • Excellent machining
  • Air adjustable using included pins
  • 3rd party customization

Cons

  • Some tinkering may be required with certain bridges (Xeta)

Mission XV continues to be one of my favorite companies. Their vape products compete with some of the best out there, and the company strives for innovation on top of functionality. Let’s take a quick look at the Mission Tip – one of several releases currently on the go.

  • SS BASE
  • TEFLON TIP
  • THREADED & 510 VERSIONS
  • 4 REDUCERS TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR AIRFLOW
  • Bore dimensions: 4.6 mm (without drip tip), 4.5mm, 3.5mm, 2.5mm, 1.5mm.
  • MULTIPLE STYLES

Disclosure: None – product was purchased for review purposes.

Packaging: The Mission Tip comes in the now familiar sealed pouch. The pouch comes complete with a base, tip, 4 air reducers and a package of spare o-rings.

Fit and Finish: Quality is PRIMO! Threads are smooth and everything fits together with just the right amount of tightness. I’m currently using the integrated base on my 2019 Kurbis and I love the fit and the look.

The tip itself sits well on the SS base – two o-rings maintain a tight fit. The reducers slide snuggly into the base with minimal play. The 510 version also uses two o-rings for fitment.

Vape Experience: Teflon…no more lip gunk ever. The feel is really nice. Add to that that you can adjust the airflow with one of 4 reducer pins – or run it without. Bigger tip with smaller bore – do-able with the Mission Tip.

The cap lifts off to reveal a chamber where you insert the pins. The top of the base also has knurling, so you get some grip when using the integrated base on your Billet Box.

Final: Well thought out and great functionality. The bonus is that 3rd party manufacturers have also started to make custom-colored tips to fit. The Mission Tip is worth picking up just on the customization possibilities – but I love the feel and “gunk free” Teflon. Mission XV also threw a few battery wraps in to complete the package.
